Microneedling

Renewal you can see and feel

Microneedling makes thousands of tiny, controlled channels in the skin. Your skin responds by repairing them — producing fresh collagen as it does — so texture and tone improve gradually across a course of treatments.

Texture and pores

Skin that feels rough or looks dull, and pores that seem larger than they should. New collagen gives the surface a smoother, more even finish, and pores look less obvious.

Acne scarring and fine lines

Pitted or uneven marks from old breakouts, and the first fine lines. Both soften over a series as collagen rebuilds underneath.

Regenerative add-ons

Your own PRF, BENEV exosomes or VAMP PDRN can be applied during the session to support healing and renewal. Dr. Alex, DNP, only suggests one when your skin will benefit.

How it works

  1. Consultation

Dr. Alex, DNP, examines your skin, goes through your health history and builds a plan: how many sessions, whether an add-on makes sense, and the home care that protects your results. The cost is clear before you begin.

  2. Treatment

After cleansing and numbing, a microneedling device creates fine, even channels across the treatment area. Any add-on — PRF, exosomes or PDRN — goes on during the session.

  3. Results and series

Redness is normal for a short time afterwards. The skin keeps renewing over the following weeks, and results build with each session, spaced to give collagen time to form.

DNP, APRN, FNP-C

Skin is personal for Dr. Alex, DNP. She has lived with acne herself, and her doctoral research at Florida International University focused on promoting sun-safe behaviour — background that informs every skin plan she writes in Miami.

Microneedling, for her, is a plan rather than a single visit: what to treat first, the depth, the number and spacing of sessions and any add-on — matched with the daily skincare that keeps results looking their best in the Florida sun.

Naturally refreshed. Prevention-focused.
Effortless beauty.

Questions

Microneedling in Miami, answered

Before a first microneedling session in Miami, these are the things people ask. Anything else, give us a call.

(786) 833-8366

How much does microneedling cost in Miami?

It depends on your plan — how many sessions your skin needs and any add-on you choose. Dr. Alex, DNP, quotes the exact cost at your consultation once she has seen your skin and heard your goals, so there are no surprises.

How many sessions will I need?

Microneedling works as a course, not a one-off. Texture and pores often improve sooner than acne scarring; Dr. Alex, DNP, will suggest a number of sessions based on your skin and what you want to achieve.

Does microneedling hurt?

Numbing cream goes on beforehand, so the treatment usually feels like light, prickly pressure — uncomfortable at most, and rarely painful.

What are the add-ons?

Three are available in Miami: PRF prepared from your own blood, BENEV exosomes and VAMP PDRN. Each can support the skin's regenerative response, and Dr. Alex, DNP, will only add one if your skin stands to gain from it.

What should I avoid afterwards?

Your skin will look pink for a short while. Follow the aftercare you are given — gentle products, no makeup or intense workouts for the recommended time, and sunscreen every day, which matters all the more under the Miami sun.

Can I start with a virtual consultation?

Yes. You can begin with a virtual consultation with Dr. Alex, DNP, to talk through your skin and goals, then come in to Edgewater for treatment.

Where is the Miami office?
