About Dr. Alex, DNP
DNP, APRN, FNP-C
Dr. Alex, DNP, started her career in New Jersey, earning her BSN at Georgian Court University in Lakewood, before completing a master's and a doctorate at Florida International University. Her doctoral research looked at how to encourage sun-safe behavior in racially diverse populations — prevention, in other words, long before it became the philosophy of her practice.
Acne shaped her too. Having struggled with it herself, she knows how much a skin concern can affect the way you feel, and she brings that understanding to every consultation.
In Oakhurst, the result is a practice where you see the same provider every time, from Botox to skincare, and where your plan grows with you rather than starting over at each visit.

Questions
Oakhurst, answered
What first-time visitors to the Oakhurst office usually ask. Something else on your mind? Call and ask.
(848) 275-3676What treatments does Blonde Girl Aesthetics® offer?
The Oakhurst office offers the full Blonde Girl Aesthetics® range of nonsurgical care: Botox, Dysport and Xeomin for expression lines; Restylane fillers; Sculptra; PRF EZ Gel; microneedling; VI chemical peels; filler dissolving with Hylenex; acne treatment and personalized skincare; hair restoration; and medical weight loss.
Dr. Alex, DNP, takes a special interest in acne — a concern she knows first-hand — and in hair restoration, an area she worked in closely during her years in plastic surgery. Every plan is conservative and evidence-based: it puts safety first, aims for natural results, and looks after the long-term health of your skin.
Is Blonde Girl Aesthetics® a medical practice?
It is. Your treatment is always with Dr. Alex, DNP, APRN, FNP-C, a doctorate-prepared nurse practitioner with over ten years in medicine, seven of them in hospitals. The treatments are nonsurgical; the standard of care is medical, from the health history to the follow-up.
What should I expect at my first appointment?
Plenty of time, and plenty of questions. Dr. Alex, DNP, starts by asking what you notice in the mirror and what you would like to change — or protect. Then she assesses your face in motion and at rest: muscle strength, symmetry, volume, skin quality and how you are aging overall.
You leave knowing your options: what she would suggest now, what can wait, the order that makes sense and the likely cost — and what doing nothing would mean. Treatment only begins once you feel informed and sure of the plan.
How do I know which treatment is right for me?
You can arrive with a concern rather than a treatment in mind. Dr. Alex, DNP, assesses your skin and facial structure, then explains your options, their limitations, recovery considerations and cost. The recommendation may be a treatment plan, skincare alone, or waiting before taking the next step.
What does “prevention-focused” mean?
Treating early and lightly, before small changes become challenging ones: easing a frown before it etches, supporting collagen while it is still plentiful, and building a skincare routine that protects you through shore summers.
It affects every decision — dose, timing, home care, maintenance. The aim is to stay recognizably yourself for longer, not to look different. As Dr. Alex, DNP, puts it, prevention is a true luxury.

Book online or call (848) 275-3676. Dr. Alex, DNP, keeps set days in Oakhurst and does not take walk-ins, so every appointment has proper time reserved for it — Saturday mornings included, and Sundays on request.
