Upper face
Forehead lines
Years of expressive brows leave their signature in horizontal lines across the forehead. The aim here is quiet, not still: the lines ease, and you can still raise an eyebrow at exactly the right moment.
Frown linesThe elevens
Those two furrows between the brows are the ones that make friends ask whether everything is all right. Easing them is often where a first appointment begins, and it changes how approachable a resting face looks more than any other area.
Crow's feet
The soft fan of lines at the outer corners of the eyes. We treat them lightly on purpose — a laugh that does not reach your eyes is not the look anyone is after.
Brow lift
Not surgery, just a handful of units placed to let the brow rise where it has begun to settle. The tail of the brow lifts, the eye opens, and nobody can say quite why you look brighter.
Temporalis
The wide muscle over the temple, which many people clench without noticing. Relaxing it takes the edge off tension headaches and grinding, and lends the outer brow a small lift as a bonus.

Bunny lines
The crinkles that run across the nose when you scrunch it or laugh hard. They often come to notice only after the forehead has been treated — and they take very little product to calm.
Nose
When the nose flares or the tip dips as you talk and smile, a few units at its base steady it and let the tip sit slightly higher. Nothing about the shape of the nose is altered.
Slim nose
Calms the small muscles that widen the nostrils, so the base of the nose reads a touch narrower. A quiet option for someone who has wondered about rhinoplasty but does not want to go near it.
Lower face

The strong muscle you feel when you clench your teeth. Treating it narrows a wide or heavy jawline gradually over a few months, and brings real relief from grinding, clenching and the tight, tired jaw that comes with them.
Lip flip
Not a filler. A few units along the top lip let it turn gently outward, so more of your own lip shows when you smile — subtle, and a favourite first step before anyone considers lip filler.
Chin
For the pebbled texture some chins take on with speech and expression. The muscle relaxes, the surface smooths, and the lower face looks calmer at rest.
DAODownturned corners
The small muscles that tug the corners of the mouth down and give a neutral face a faintly disappointed look. Relaxing them lets the mouth rest level, and the whole face reads as friendlier.
Nefertiti lift
Small doses along the jawline and into the upper neck release the band of muscle that drags the jaw downward. The result is a crisper line between chin and neck, with no cutting involved.
Neck bands
The vertical cords that stand out along the neck with age or a strong platysma muscle. Softened, they leave a smoother, more graceful line from jaw to collarbone.

Botox is charged by the unit, and the number of units is decided by your muscles, not by a menu. Dr. Alex, DNP, works that out at the consultation after watching your face move — which is why we do not publish a per-area price that would only be a guess. You will have an exact figure before anything is drawn up, along with an honest word on what to treat now and what can wait.
Botox, Dysport or Xeomin — which one will I get?
All three are available in Miami, and all three work the same way: they relax the muscle beneath a line so the skin above it can rest. Dysport tends to settle in a touch faster and spread a little more softly, which suits broad areas like the forehead; Xeomin carries no added proteins; Botox is the one most people know by name. Dr. Alex, DNP, will recommend one for you at the consultation — and if you have a favourite from past treatments, say so.
Will people be able to tell?
Only in the way people notice a good night's sleep. Dr. Alex, DNP, keeps doses light and plans around your natural expression, so nothing looks frozen and nothing looks done. Friends usually say you seem rested, or ask whether you have just been on vacation — and in Miami, that is a perfectly plausible cover.
How many units will I need?
There is no standard number. Strong, well-used muscles want more; a forehead alone wants far less than forehead, elevens and crow's feet together; and men typically need more than women. Dr. Alex, DNP, sets the dose per area from how your face moves on the day, erring on the side of less — it is easy to add a few units at a follow-up, and impossible to take them back.
How soon will I see results, and how long do they last?
The first softening shows around day three to seven, and the finished result is in place by about two weeks. It then holds for roughly three to four months on expression lines — sometimes a little less the first time, often longer once you have kept up a rhythm. Masseter results outlast the face, typically four to six months.
Can I drive myself home afterwards?
Yes — there is nothing to recover from, and most people drive straight home or back to work. For the rest of the day, avoid lying flat, rubbing the treated areas and hard exercise; the small raised bumps at the injection points usually settle within the hour, well before you are back on Biscayne.
Is Miami by appointment only?
It is. Dr. Alex, DNP, sees patients in Miami on scheduled days, so appointments are booked in advance rather than walk-in — book online, or call and we will find you the next available day. Booking ahead also means your visit is unhurried, with time set aside for the consultation itself.
Is my late twenties too early to start Botox?
Not at all. Preventative Botox uses smaller doses to soften the expressions that would otherwise etch lines in over the years, so the lines never fully form. There is no correct age to begin — what matters is whether a line is starting to stay after your face relaxes. If it is, that is worth a conversation; if it is not, Dr. Alex, DNP, will tell you so.
