Every treatment is performed by Dr. Alex and incorporated into a thoughtful medical care plan rather than selected as an isolated service.

Yes. Treatments are performed by Dr. Alex, DNP, APRN, FNP-C — a doctoral-prepared aesthetic nurse practitioner with over a decade in medicine, including seven years in hospital settings before moving into aesthetics. Everything offered is nonsurgical, but it is medical care, planned and delivered as such.

Your first appointment is intentionally comprehensive. Dr. Alex will take the time to understand what is bothering you, what you hope to improve, and how you want to feel when you look in the mirror. She will evaluate how your face moves and rests, your muscle strength, facial balance, volume changes, skin quality, and overall aging pattern before making any recommendations.

You will leave with a personalized plan that explains what may benefit you now, what can wait, the ideal order of treatment, and the expected investment. Dr. Alex will teach you what each treatment does, why it is—or is not—being recommended, and what you can expect if you choose to do nothing at all. Nothing is performed until you feel informed, comfortable, and confident in the plan.

You do not need to arrive knowing which treatment to choose—that is what your consultation is for. Dr. Alex will evaluate the source of your concerns rather than asking you to select a procedure from a menu.

Expression lines caused by muscle movement may benefit from a neuromodulator. Volume loss, hollowing, shadows, or changes in facial balance may be addressed with Restylane dermal filler. Gradual collagen loss and changes in firmness may benefit from biostimulatory treatments. Texture, pigmentation, acne, and overall skin quality may be treated with professional skincare, chemical peels, microneedling, or a combination of modalities.

Downtime depends on the treatment or service being performed. Some treatments require very little interruption to your routine, while others may involve temporary redness, swelling, tenderness, flaking, peeling, or bruising. Bruising is always possible with injectable treatments and should be expected when planning around important events.

Before treatment, we will review what to expect, how to prepare, appropriate aftercare, and how much time you should allow before an event. Your recommendations can also be planned around your schedule and comfort level whenever possible.
