What PRF actually does
PRF stands for platelet-rich fibrin. A small amount of your blood is drawn and spun to concentrate the platelets, growth factors and fibrin, which are then placed back where they can support your body’s own healing and renewal.
On the scalp, PRF is part of a hair restoration plan. On the face, it supports skin quality and tissue rejuvenation; as PRF EZ Gel, it can offer subtle, natural-looking volume for patients who prefer to work with their own healing factors.
Results are gradual, and a series of three is recommended for best results. Series are offered at all three offices.

Consultation
Dr. Alex, DNP, reviews your health history and goals, and confirms where PRF can help. You hear the plan and the cost at your office first.

Preparation
A small amount of blood is drawn and spun in a centrifuge to concentrate the platelet-rich fibrin, ready for use the same visit.

Treatment
PRF is placed in the scalp or face with a fine needle, or applied during microneedling. Numbing is used where appropriate.

Series & results
Results develop gradually. A series of three is recommended, spaced to let your tissue respond, with a review before each session.
