Her story

From hospital medicine to aesthetic care

Dr. Alex spent seven years in hospital settings before moving into aesthetics. That work taught her what good care depends on: safety, support, and making sure the patient understands what is happening and why.

Wanting to know more, she went on to earn her master's and doctorate at Florida International University. Her doctoral research looked at promoting sun-safe behaviour in racially diverse populations, and that prevention-first thinking still shapes every treatment plan she writes.

Since then she has trained extensively and attends professional conferences to keep up with current techniques and safety practice.

Why it's personal

Dr. Alex has dealt with acne herself, so she knows how much a skin or aesthetic concern can weigh on your confidence and mental health. That is why a consultation with her is unhurried and honest. She will tell you what she would do, what she would not, and when the right answer is to wait.
