What microneedling actually does
Microneedling creates controlled micro-channels in the skin. Your skin responds to them as it would to any small injury: by producing new collagen and renewing itself, which gradually refines texture and tone.
It improves the look of pores, acne scarring and fine lines, and overall skin quality. Treatments may be paired with PRF, BENEV exosomes or VAMP PDRN when appropriate to enhance the regenerative process.
Results build over a series of sessions. Dr. Alex, DNP, plans the number and spacing with you, along with the skincare that will protect your results at home.

Consultation
Dr. Alex, DNP, looks at your skin and reviews your health history, then recommends a plan, including any add-on, and the cost at your office.

Treatment
The skin is cleansed and numbed, then a microneedling device creates fine, controlled micro-channels. PRF, exosomes or PDRN can be applied as part of the treatment.

Aftercare
Expect redness for a short time afterwards. Use gentle skincare, avoid makeup and strenuous exercise as instructed, and protect your skin from the sun.

Skin renews over the following weeks, and results build over a series of sessions spaced to let collagen develop.

How many sessions will I need?
Results build over a series. The number depends on your skin and your goals, and Dr. Alex, DNP, will plan it with you at the consultation.
Does microneedling hurt?
A numbing cream is applied beforehand, so most people describe a light, scratchy sensation rather than pain.
What are the add-ons?
PRF, made from your own blood, BENEV exosomes and VAMP PDRN can each be added to the treatment when appropriate, to enhance the regenerative process. Dr. Alex, DNP, will recommend one only if it suits your skin.
What should I avoid afterwards?
Follow the aftercare instructions you are given: gentle skincare, no makeup or strenuous exercise for the time recommended, and daily sunscreen to protect your results.
